VERDANT editorial is under the supervision of Sharon King Hoge, a journalist and former radio/television broadcaster who pioneered reporting on consumer products and on energy and environmental issues. A former National Consumer Reporter of the Year, Ms. Hoge continues to follow ecological issues in articles for national publications such as Conde Nast Traveler, Global Traveler, Forbes FYI and Cottages and Gardens magazines.

The design of Verdant magazine is by noted publication designer Dwayne Flinchum, founder of the Iridium Group, one of the nation's foremost publication designers.
